Description of Geographical Areas
The details of geographical areas for the purpose of giving marks for the evaluation of the experience of civil servants working in different geographical areas shall be as mentioned in Schedule-16.

(1) In the case of gazetted posts, in order to be promoted in civil service, group or sub-group vacant posts by performance evaluation and seniority and performance evaluation, employees with the minimum service period and educational qualification as per section 21 of the relevant service, group or sub-group under the relevant service, group or sub-group in the case of gazetted posts.
